Testimonials

"I never learned so much ..." - Alex W., International Customer Service

"Der Unterricht macht riesigen Spaß (und) der Lehrer ist einfach klasse ..." - Elisabeth K., Head of Purchasing

"I enjoyed your course very much. Coming home and feeling so fresh and fit, not being tired or exhausted is a fantastic experience, which is not really standard after a language course in the VHS. Compliments!!" - Ralf J., Small Business Owner

"It was the most fun I've had in class and at the same time I really learned a lot. As you know, I come from China, and in school I'm used to just listening to teachers who talk in front of us earnestly. I never had a chance to participate actively. I had real fun during our two days. Thank you!" - Youkun G. - Junior Scientist, University of Bochum

Musical Theatre Dance

Ric teaches a styles and character dance class.

A fun way to learn about the history of musicals by studying the styles, characters and music from a variety of memorable shows such as the Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" to the 2008 Tony-award winning musical "In the Heights"

No dance experience necessary.

Echoes From the New World (Ecos del Nuevo Mundo), written by Ric was featured in the 2007 Minneapolis Fringe Festival

" Great performance by two energetic actors!" by Nick n Rosie Heille:
A must see. A great trunk show performance by two energetic actors. A tour-de-force of South American’s history and culture from pre-European discovery to today. A story of South America told by two of its people. In a seamless experience one is told the story of the original native Indians, the age of colonization, and today’s dictators. Just a great experience.

A scene from Echoes from the New World is featured in The Conscious Reader 10th Edition, published by Longman Press. The anthology also features the photography and art direction of Christian Matuschek

"Short plays by Pulitzer-prize winner Tony Kushner (Homebody/Kabul) and street performance artist Ric Oquita make contemporary issues real ... Perhaps the most distinguishing feature of The Conscious Reader is its inclusion of a cutting-edge selection of fine art and photographs, designed to provoke discussion and analysis."
